Today a movie which was being featured on the world movies caught my attention..Although it was half-way done i sat to watch it.."The white massai"..
When I googled it, I was surprised to know its based on a true story..An autobiographical book written by Corinne Hofmann.
The storys about love and what happens when a lady from swizz falls in love with a masai warrior Lketinga Leparmorijo..The Masai are a tribe living in a an arid desert and conditions so different from her life back in Switzerland..
There are events which are a part of the masai culture which corinne finds repelling where as Lketinga has been living with it all his life and doesnt understand why she finds it weird..
The movie shows how Corinne tries to adjust to her new life, trying to make her love work inspite of all the cultural differences..
It makes us cross our cultural boundaries and look at the world in a different way..
