BROKEN NEWS!

With so many events on in the world forum there's one chunk of people who gain the most outta the disastrous happenings..And its none other then the news agencies and the channels..

Along with delivering to us the breaking news, what it also does is brings with it a hell lot of irritating advertisements..
Indian news channels are the worst when it comes to ads..
Just wen we are watching an interesting piece of news there comes an ad equally contrasting to the news currently on..
And the number of ads are directly proportional to the number people watching the news..as the traffic to the channel increases they put up more ads then the news..
And so when you see the ad and you know its going to take another 10mins for the news to return..You decide to change the channel..but alas!! if u had hoped to find something on the other channels u r up for a huge disappointment..It seems like all the news channels have coordinated their ad timings..so if a news channel has an ad on, then  the others will follow..

In addition to the annoying ads they have this another feature "tickers" which takes up almost half the screen..
The channel that i was watching today (which got on my nerves and so the blog) had about 3 tickers simultaneously and I was left in a dilemma about which ticker should I follow..Moreover, they go on repeating the same pictures, the same clips and somehow  manage to twist the words and sell the same piece of scrap for another hour..

So at all times i prefer to watch the BBC world news which is a sight of relief for the Indian news seekers..cuz contrary to all the Indian news channels, the video clips and the pictures are not repeated in a section of news, the ads are shown at the end of the news section or at the start and to top this all its devoid of tickers or at rare-times there's a minimal use of tickers..

I hope that someday we are given the actual "breaking news" instead of the "broken" ones that we are fooled with these days..
